Tuesday Tunes: Go-To Songs

 

This week I'm going to go through a few songs that I've always been able to listen to, no matter the situation.  I think everyone has a few go-to songs for times when you're having trouble finding an album or a music station to listen to.  These are a few of mine.

Besides Daniel- The Field

I first heard this song at an Artist Retreat in Tennessee. Daniel played this song by himself in a log cabin, in the dead of winter, and it was the easily one of the most memorable perfomances I've ever seen.

This Will Destroy You- I Believe In Your Victory

These guys are all instrumental.  I wasn't a fan of instrumental until I heard them, and ever since they've become one of my favorite bands.  They have an ability to keep my attention in a way most instrumental bands can't.

Steel Train- Angelica

This is one of my favorite songs of all time.  I know I say that a lot, but this really is.  I've never gotten a chance to see these guys live, and now most of them have left the band to do other things (one is actually in fun.), so I don't think I'll be getting a chance to ever see them together.  -Brian
